About me

That's why I moved to Barcelona city when I was just eighteen years old. I got graduated in 1997 with  a B.A. Degree in Tourism Management with English and French at CETA University Tourism College in Barcelona/Universitat de Girona. Once, I ended my studies, I was very excited on the possibility of spending some time abroad to learn new experiences and improve my language skills. My first choice was Ireland. Surprisingly, my six-month there became thirteen years of living between 1998 and 2023. During these years, I also spent some periods of time in Catalonia close to my family, and another six months working in France to improve my French, too.

Nonetheless, all those many years working in Ireland, my second home, brought me lots of new professional skills, know the Irish hospitality industry, plus the opportunity to work in some of the most relevant tourism worldwide companies such as Google, Airbnb and Marriott.

More recently, due to my keen interest in continuous learning to bring excellence to my professional work, I have pursued further higher education with postgraduate and master's studies. Nowadays, I am specialized in Hospitality Training, Travel Technology, Tourism Digital Marketing and Local Development.

Over the last twenty-six years, I have achieved a solid and varied experience in different areas of the hospitality sector, IT and travel technology. My professional career, developed in Spain, Ireland and France, gives me an overview of the whole tourism industry with a sound experience. Furthermore, my experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams from around the world, creates the necessary synergies to benefit partners and clients with the best solutions to meet their needs. 

My professional expertise with tourism markets in Catalonia, Spain, EMEA, Latin America and USA, together with my ability to speak fluently Catalan, Spanish and Catalan, allow me to provide a wide range of bespoke services. 

When I am not working, you may find me at the cinema, travelling, visiting a cultural site, hiking in nature, taking photographies, reading a historic novel or trying to knit a scarf.
